My name is Mike Hodsall and I'm a guitarist and singer/songwriter hailing from the tranquil mountains of Nelson BC. I have spent nearly two decades touring the countless miles of Canadian and US highways with exceptionally loud rock bands such as the legendary Canadian tribute transcenders, BC/DC, as well as with punk/hardcore band, Circle the Wagons. My 2008 release, Catharsis, as front man for the band, Raven Head, is an underground classic amongst heavy psychedelic rock circles.

In 2012, I decided it was time to try something different, something that I'd never done before. Thus began my solo journey. Acoustic guitars instead of stacks of Marshall amps and Gibson SGs. A whole new world of sonic possibilities and wonderment. My solo material ranges from uplifting acoustic instrumentals, not unlike what would be found on a Windham Hill guitar sampler, to dark soul baring vocal pieces churning up from that uncomfortable place inside. Never one to find peace in limited musical style, I also deliver jazzy songs that stand as a platform for my atmospheric and improvisational guitar playing.
